1941 (20.4.) cover addressed to 'Panzer Division 15' which was one of the advance feldpost's set up at Derna (opened April 14th 1941)for the swift advancing Korps. The cover bears 12+38pfg Deitsch Reich adhesive tied BERLIN C2/GEBURTSTAG DES FUHRERS. Also a copy of the 20pfg 'Hitler' stamp handstamped AFRIKA. This was overprinted due to a shortage of the 20pf stamp which was used by troops allowing them to send home once a month. The overprinting was deemed against regulation since it defaced Hitlers head. Apparently these are scarce.
