1943 (DEC.9.) registered cover from the Oris Watch Company in Switzerland addressed to Bombay in India cancelled by red HOLSTEIN 14.50 meter mark censored in Germany resealing label on reverse side. It then passed through Lagos having a currently unique strike (the only one recorded) of the boxed 'LAGOS CENSOR/UNEXAMINED' in red ink. WASC type 9. It then passed through Leopoldville and censored in Egypt being received in India and having OPENED BY EXAMINER label applied and violet DHC/383 h/s. Some edge wear but an exceedingly rare item.

Only 189 rocketgrams were flown and this was the worlds first successful livestock sent in a rocket.
