Following the Battle of Borneo the 9th Australian division remained in Borneo until January 1946 with Dutch troops remaining a little longer. This air letter probably being taken by sea on the HMS Vengeance that left with the Australian troops on January 12th. Struck at left by circular PASSED BY/R.N.F.CENSOR/No. h/s signed.
