1915 1d deep rose 'War Tax' adhesive in fine unmounted mint horizontal pair taken from local stocks and hence being on a light toned paper with somewhat dried gum with the left stamp showing the major variety 'TA INSERTED IN STAMP' from row 5/4 of the left hand pane. An exceedingly rare variety since this occurred only from a later printing where the section was replaced due to wear and hence giving the additional DISTORTED M where the section was cut out. SG 139e.
