The cover is marked 'Per Monowai' which was a ship of the Union Stamp Ship Company that called at Tonga in 1935 during its summer cruise. Some edge faults but a significent important cover as it bears the very scarce dark blue on blue SHOW YOUR APPROVAL/ OF THE NEW SERVICE/USE THE AIR MAIL label on reverse tied by one of the cachets.
